Scholarship opportunities for student musicians in Ontario.

One of the ways that AMCO encourages the development of male chorus singing in Ontario, is by recognizing that music students of both genders may continue on to take up positions as singers, accompanists or directors in Ontario male choruses.

Therefore, each year, the Associated Male Choruses of Ontario (AMCO) sponsors a number of scholarships designed to assist and encourage students in pursuing their music programs. These students must be in their completing year in high school or in an undergraduate year in a Canadian University or College and they must be enrolled in music programs and planning to continue in their music studies.

The Associated Male Choruses Of Ontario are inviting applications for the following Scholarships this year:

First Prize $1400.00

Second Prize $1000.00

To be eligible for scholarship consideration, the applicant must be:

A student in or entering a full time under-graduate music program in a Canadian College or University.

A music major (vocal or choral preferred) or music education.

Sponsored by a chorus of the Associated Male Choruses of Ontario. Contact your local chorus (see list below) for application forms and further instructions.

Applications must be submitted by June 5, 2026.
